This Deft was committed on the 12th Dec 1839
for high treason -
Mr Wightman will be pleased to refer
to the Examinations of David Herring and
Edward Brickley as reported in the Times
Newspaper of the 13 Dec. left herewith (fol 5)
and to consider whether this deft may not be
indicted for unlawfully making pikes i.e
to be used for unlawful purposes, and if
