I found to be one of my Watches which
I now have. The Men were not in
the House more than 10 minutes
and went away on the Tram Road
upon leaving the House I heard the
report of a Gun - There was some
Coarse^Gun powder which I had given
me the other day (about 1/2 a pound)
which they took away with them
as well - I should know two
of the Men again - I think I have
seen them before - I asked the Men
what they were going about- they
said that was the night the
Chartists were to rise that they wanted
fire Arms to go and take

and that if they got the day[~]
[~] they would bring back the Guns

Newport. [^] I believe the Men were
Colliers
