My Dear Sir,
I congratulate you
warmly and sincerely on your late
victory, had I been in health I would
have been in Newport to assist in
the struggle.
I read your speech with much
pleasure, it was a very able one, you
selected your topics well. The agents
of the land owners on the Council, do
what they please, it is full time an
alteration for the better took place.
