& 5 o'clock - went from Pont aper Pengam
went to [?] Patts Davis & had a pint of beer
this was a mile & a half from where
he lodged- Came down the Tredegar
Tramroad
from the Blackwood.
for one of his companions came from
pont Aperpengam the other found them
about a mile & a half from the town.
When they got to the Blackwood they
for met crowds of people - they left crowds
of people at Risca . I suppose there were
a hundred. I passed them at 9 oclock
they were staying some standing & some sitting
Some of them had Guns. I was paid off
