my trams were masons some carpenters - they had their
tools with them - some had walking sticks - I saw
no weapons of any sort - some said they were coming to
go on to Bristol to where they lived -one Two came as far as
the Machine who had said so. I don't know any of
them or where they came from - the tram belongs to my
brother & myself - The I usually load my trams on
Monday & go up to Nantyglo on Friday but I did not
return go up on the Friday after the riots as I understood the
tram would be stopped I did not go up until Thursday -
