the Bridge, Stop the Welch Coach, which would be
a signal to the people in the North, & (where
provided the coach did not come in) where were
to rise on the Monday night he then should
be able to find some 2 or 3 of his friends or
enemies in Newport (after this conversation
he ordered the men to go forward to the
Welch Oak. I then made my escape before we reached
the Welch Oak. I got into a field into a Cow shed
where I remain for 3 or 4 hours. on the Saturday night
(the 2nd of Nov[embe]r) Then as I was going to the lodge ab[ou]t. 7 oClock heard
in the evening W[illia]m. Davies telling a Gentleman that Mr Frost was
at Francis Job Tovey's
