Thomas Bowen lives at Nant y Glo
a puddler knows Isaac Tippins
of Nant y Glo Tailor. He lodged
in my House about 12 Mos
was a very steady man and paid
his way till he joined the Chartists
Since which he used to be absent
a Week & 10 Days at a time. Wanted
me often to go in the ^ Lodges I wod
not He gave me a Card about
the Friday before the Sunday
night they started he said he
was a Captn over 10. I saw the
names of 10 upon a piece
of paper in his possession
He said Sat- y Eve-ing You I must
take my a Card take a shilling
for a Pike
^ and go down to Z Williams
___________ I said I can I cod not
to meet. I asked him when
get any money my Wife had
locked the Cupboard - He said I shod
