had on a white ^ dirty Blanket Jacket
very long down over his hips
and dark Trowsers A Jim Crow
Hat and covered with oil case
He was near 6 feet high He wore
large Whiskers and was a ruffianly
looking man. He had lost his
left leg below the Knee. After
he had done firing I said to
him in Welsh Well, Well you
have done that that is very wrong
they are coming after you & you
will be sure to be taken. He turned
short round took his Gun which
was on his Shoulder and Cocked
it and I though he was going
to shoot me but he put the Gun
down and carried it swinging
in his hand down the Street towards
the Parrot & turned up Charles Street
when towards Stow Hill when I lost
sight of him. He had a blue
